About us 

Founded in 1948, in individual name, and being constituted into a society for shares in 1965, the company Jorge Baptista da Silva & Irmão passed to an anonymous society in 2001. Through this period of time, JBS has diversified its activities: from a locksmith shop industry and foundry of metals, dedicated mainly to the manufacture of ornamental goods, passed also to the fabrication of accessories for electric installations and for telecommunication lines, conquering a good share of these markets.

Reconciling tradition, modernization and innovation, JBS focused on quality, having obtained the certification from APCER, in 2000, in agreement with ISO 9002, in 2003 was certified by ISO 9001. In July 2010, changed its corporate name to JOBASI-Acessórios Eléctricos e Bronzes, S.A., continuing the brand JBS associated with the company logo. The improvement of the quality of the processes, products and services constitutes a permanent concern for all the collaborators of JBS. 

Using as main technologies of production the foundry, the stamping and machinating, JBS is in conditions of manufacturing a great range of products.
